In 1951, Jesús Aguas Campos opened a repair shop in Ejea de los Caballeros. Its agro-industrial environment determines its subsequent registration as EL LEON agricultural machinery. During this decade, his brother Marcelino joined the project, bringing his metallurgical experience. The series production of tying mowers and its commercial expansion begins.

In 1967, this family business presented a machine that would completely renew agricultural tasks: the front loader. The national success of this product led to the construction of new facilities in 1977. In the 1990s, auxiliary workshops were developed which nurtured the business and increased our production capacity. The international expansion of the Spanish front loader is successful in Europe.

In the first decades of 2000, there was a generational change both at the level of operators and managers and in the family that owns the company. The renovation is successful, and the production process and product design are modernized.

The current challenge is to continue to progress in a globalized market.
